Universal Safety Insert for 24" PVC Ribbed Pipe

Keep your family, pets and friends safe from falling into a septic tank with a safety screen insert. Designed for easy install on  24" PVC Ribbed Pipe or HDPE Corrugated pipe. These white, heavy-duty ABS screens act as a secondary layer of protection if the riser cover is unknowingly damaged, removed, or not put back on.

Instructions for installing the Polylok 24" Universal Safety Screen

• Fully collapse ledge ring by releasing tab on ratchet catch.
• Install ledge ring into pipe or riser. Make sure ledge faces up and is at least 7" below top of pipe or riser.
• Expand ledge ring to provide a tight fit with the ID of pipe or riser. Install at least 7" down from the top of pipe or riser.
• For ribbed and corrugated pipe, use a power drill driver with 5/16" hex drive bit. Secure ledge ring to pipe through holes in ledge ring with 8 #10x1" hex head screws provided.
  
• Install the safety screen using 6 supplied #10x3/4" Phillips pan head screws.
• NOTE: All 6 screws must be used to secure safety screen to ledge ring.
